Julia Bernardo Costa

Julia Bernardo Costa is a Law Clerk with Lacki & Company, LLC, focusing on employment-based and family-based immigration as well as corporate legal matters. Since 2022, Ms. Costa has concentrated her practice on immigration, advising clients on complex matters, preparing legal filings, and conducting legal research.

Ms. Costa has managed high-volume employment-based immigration matters for both multinational companies and individual clients, working across a range of temporary and permanent visa categories, including H-1B, L, TN, EB-1, and EB-3. She also has experience with matters before the immigration court, including preparing filings and assembling supporting documentary evidence.

Before relocating to the United States, Ms. Costa gained legal experience in Brazil through internships with the Criminal Execution Court and a private tax law firm, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, procedural drafting, and case analysis. She has also contributed to academic legal research involving international human rights and indigenous rights.
